Access security and outdoor communication require devices capable of withstanding harsh conditions, whilst ensuring high-quality audio and video, ease of management and integration with the existing infrastructure.
With the new GSC3560 and GSC3565, Grandstream is expanding its range with two smart outdoor intercoms designed for security, emergency, access control and monitoring applications in both public and private settings. The devices were announced by Grandstream on 16 June 2026 and are suitable for schools, residential communities, parks, stadiums, healthcare facilities, warehouses, SMEs and high-demand environments.
Outdoor intercoms for high-demand environments
The new Grandstream GSC3560 and GSC3565 have been designed to meet an increasingly pressing need: to provide communication, security and access control even in exposed environments, where reliability and operational continuity are essential.
The modern design is combined with industrial-grade construction, designed for outdoor installations and scenarios where the devices must withstand challenging environmental conditions or intensive use. Grandstream presents them as an audio and video solution for emergency environments and high-demand settings.
IP66 rating and IK10 protection
One of the main strengths of the new intercoms is their physical robustness.
The entire unit is IP66-rated, meaning it is designed to withstand dust and water, an essential feature for outdoor installations. In addition, it is IK10-rated, which guarantees high impact resistance across the entire device, including the lens area of the GSC3565 model.
These features make the GSC3560 and GSC3565 particularly suitable for environments where the device may be exposed to the elements, wear and tear or the risk of tampering.
Professional audio for clear communication
As well as durability, Grandstream focuses on the quality of communication.
The new smart outdoor intercoms feature two microphones and a 10-watt speaker, designed to deliver high-fidelity communication even in challenging environments. The GSC3560 model also includes an AI-based noise-cancelling function, which Grandstream states improves audio clarity.
Whether in schools, public spaces, warehouses, healthcare facilities or sports centres, the quality of communication is no mere detail: it can make all the difference in day-to-day access management and in emergency situations.
Cloud, mobile and on-premises management
The GSC3560 and GSC3565 offer a range of management modes, designed to simplify the administration, control and monitoring of devices.
According to Grandstream, the devices can be managed via a local web interface, GDMS UC, GDMS SecureAccess, Home Assistant and the SecureAccess app. This flexibility allows management to be tailored to the needs of the installation, from a single site right through to distributed environments.
Intercoms also enable live video monitoring, alarm event management and the viewing of access logs, making them suitable for scenarios where control and traceability are key.
Access control and integration with existing devices
The new Grandstream intercoms are designed to integrate with existing infrastructure and terminals.
PoE support simplifies installation and synchronisation with other devices, whilst the built-in solid-state relay provides protection against external magnetic interference. Grandstream also notes that ports can be unlocked via an app, SIP calls, HTTP API and, for the GSC3565 model, via QR code support as well.
This combination makes the GSC3560 and GSC3565 attractive options for system integrators, installers and resellers working on projects in the fields of physical security, facility management and unified communications.
