La configurazione consente l'accesso esteso a dei sistemi computer da remoto tramite una console USB (tastiera USB, mouse USB, monitor DVI) tramite Intranet e Internet per consentire agli utenti di collocare il sistema computer in ambienti sicuri con temperatura controllata, isolato dalle workstation degli utenti. KE6900AiT supporta il nuovo software Control Center Video Session Recorder ( CCVSR ), che registra tutte le operazioni effettuate sui server a cui si accede attraverso KVM su switch IP, ad esempio i bootup a livello del BIOS fino a livello del sistema. Il KE6900AiT DVI-I a display singolo supporta uno schermo solo DVI a ogni estremità e offre trasmissioni video senza perdita e a bassa latenzafino a 1920 x 1200 a 60 Hz. Il trasmettitore e il ricevitore possono essere collegati entrambi direttamente l'uno all'altro o mediante una rete ad alta velocità, tramite una LAN basata su rame o basata su fibra. In quanto estensore basato su IP, il KE6900AiT può essere usato come estensore punto a punto/punto a multipunto/multipunto a punto, o integrato in un sistema matrix KVM over IP (multipunto a multipunto) quando combinato con il Software di gestione matrix KE ( CCKM ), in modo da offrire applicazioni più flessibili in diversi ambienti di rete.
