Lo switch KVM LCD Slideaway™ CL5716I è una unità di controllo che consente di accedere a più computer da una singola console KVM PS/2 o USB (tastiera, video e mouse). Un singolo CL5716I può controllare fino a 16 computer. Possono essere collegati a Daisy-chain al CL5716I fino a 15 switch KVM aggiuntivi in modo da poter controllare fino a 256 computer da una singola console KVM. Lo switch KVM LCD CL5716I è una unità di controllo KVM basata su IP che consente sia agli operatori locali che remoti di monitorare e accedere a più computer. Gli utenti remoti possono accedere agli switch tramite Internet mediante il browser web utilizzando TCP/IP come protocollo di comunicazione remota. Il CL5716I supporta fino a 32 accessi utente simultanei per l'accesso al computer a singolo bus. La funzione integrata che ri-assembla il programma di chat Internet, Bacheca messaggi, consente la comunicazione reciproca. La possibilità di scambiare le informazioni in tempo reale consente di collaborare nella gestione dell'installazione in modo fluido ed efficiente. CL5716I offre un approccio ottimizzato e salva spazio per la tecnologia switch KVM integrando una tastiera, un monitor LCD a retroilluminazione LED da 19" (CL5716IN) e un touchpad in un case scorrevole per il montaggio su rack 1U. Inoltre, poiché CL5716I è integrato in un design modulare, la sezione KVM può essere rimossa dalla sezione switch per eseguire in modo comodo la manutenzione e la riparazione. Tra le altre fantastiche funzioni di CL5716I, la Modalità Panel Array offre la possibilità di monitorare l'uscita video dei server durante l'installazione; mentre la funzione Mouse DynaSync™ sincronizza automaticamente i movimenti del puntatore del mouse locale e remoto per un allineamento perfetto senza considerare le impostazioni di accelerazione del mouse sul server.
