Il FRITZ!Box 6850 4G Edition International offre una connessione a Internet veloce via rete 4G/LTE con velocità di trasferimento fino a 300 Mbit/s e Wireless AC + N dual band. Come centrale versatile della rete locale a casa o in ufficio connette in modo affidabile tanti dispositivi, come computer, smartphone, tablet, TV o stampanti. Il FRITZ!Box 6850 4G offre inoltre telefonia comfort, funzioni di sicurezza intelligenti, tante funzioni Smart Home tramite DECT ULE e l'efficiente sistema operativo FRITZ!OS. Per garantire una connessione affidabile anche in condizioni di rete variabili, il FRITZ!Box 6850 4G trasmette su 11 bande 4G (LTE) e tre bande 3G (UMTS/HSPA+) . Se necessario, è anche possibile collegare antenne esterne per migliorare la ricezione. Una funzione integrata aiuta a individuare la posizione ideale per il dispositivo e l'orientamento ottimale delle antenne. Un vantaggio particolare è la possibilità di selezionare singole bande di telefonia mobile per un maggiore controllo, prestazioni stabili e un utilizzo ottimale delle risorse di rete disponibili. Grazie alla tecnologia wireless dual band, il FRITZ!Box 6850 4G trasmette parallelamente sulle bande di frequenza a 2,4 GHz (Wireless N) e a 5 GHz (Wireless AC) , in modo da raggiungere velocità di trasmissione totali fino a 1.266 Mbit/s. In combinazione con un FRITZ!Repeater o un FRITZ!Powerline (con funzione Wi-Fi) gli utenti possono sfruttare tutti i vantaggi della rete Mesh: i dispositivi FRITZ! nelle varie stanze operano in un'unica rete, si scambiano informazioni e ottimizzano le prestazioni di tutti i dispositivi wireless. Il FRITZ!Box 6850 4G combina funzioni di comunicazione e funzioni multimediali complete: il centralino VoIP integrato supporta collegamenti telefonici classici, fino a sei cordless e smartphone con funzioni come segreteria telefonica e rubriche. La stazione base DECT permette di integrare comodamente dispositivi FRITZ! per Smart Home per la gestione di luce e riscaldamento. Il FRITZ!Box 6850 4G offre inoltre un media server integrato con possibilità di collegamento al sistema NAS, che mette a disposizione nella rete film, musica e immagini su memorie USB o piattaforme online e può trasmetterli in streaming a un lettore multimediale.
