The AC Voltage Detection Sensor notifies of the presence or absence of electricity. It is intended for use on devices using supply power from 24 - 500 VAC. Not intended for voltages higher than 500 VAC and also not intended for use with DC sources. Perfect for HVAC systems, sprinkler systems, sump pumps and any other type of electrical appliance monitoring. This sensor triggers on the state change from presence to absence of voltage and vice versa. The data is displayed as either "No Voltage" or "Voltage Detected". ALTA sensors offer 3 to 4 times the range of standard sensor platforms, extending non-line-of-sight reach to an exceptional 1,000+ feet through walls (12-14 walls typical). Using Frequency-hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) also allows ALTA sensors to have better interference immunity from other wireless devices. Superior power management provides ALTA sensors with almost twice the battery life of Monnit’s standard wireless sensors. - Coin cell sensors typically last 3+ years. - AA and Industrial sensors typically last up to 10+ years.
