Ultra-fast Wireless N – high data throughput The FRITZ!WLAN Repeater 450E supports all common radio standards, exploiting the advantages of Wireless N at up to 450 Mbit/s. The device is also downward compatible to the 802.11g and b standards. Thanks to deployment of MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) antennas and the latest technology for optimizing range and throughput, the range and data rates are significantly higher than those of the previous solutions based on 11n. Maximum wireless security – compact design Maximum security is ensured by the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater 450E's support of the latest encryption methods like WPA2 (802.11i), WPA and WEP. Information on the operating status is displayed directly on the device LEDs. The LED display also allows the ideal position for the device to be determined, as they indicate the quality of the wireless signal. The especially compact design means the device can be plugged into practically any 230V socket—no special equipment or cables are needed.
