Gigaset N670 è un sistema monocella / mini multicella per ambienti business di piccole dimensioni. Oltre a poter utilizzare il sistema in modalità monocella (installando una singola cella N670) è possibile - mediante gli ultimi aggiornamenti firmware gratuiti - collegare fino a tre N670 (di cui una svolgerà il ruolo DM+Base) formando un sistema mini multicella senza licenze aggiuntive, che garantisce fino a 8 chiamate contemporanee su tutto l'impianto con un massimo di 20 portatili registrati entro l'area di copertura. Se poi dovesse rendersi necessario aggiungere ulteriori basi e quindi passare al sistema Gigaset N870, grazie alla licenza ART-152089 S30852-H2714-X3 è possibile recuperare l'investimento fatto per le N670 trasformandole in N870: in tal caso, sarà necessaria una licenza per ogni N670. Il sistema non supporta Gigaset Repeater, ed è certificato con i cordless della sola serie Gigaset Pro, ossia i modelli C570H, C670H, S650H, R650H, S700H, R700H, SL750H, SL800H. È comunque consigliabile verificare le singole funzionalità dei portatili aggiuntivi recandosi sulle rispettive schede prodotto.
